Data Protection – Privacy Notice
The Novum Trust (“the Trust”) will be a “controller” of personal information provided to us by (i) individuals who represent organisations which apply for funding and/or are granted funding by the Trust (ii) individuals who are identified by organisations in (i) in support of their application for funding.
We will collect, store and use the personal information provided to us during the course of the grant application award and monitoring process concerned.
Information may be processed by Blair Cadell Solicitors, or other approved parties during the course of the grant application, award and monitoring process concerned.
We need to collect and process this personal information (a) so that we can conduct our services, (b) in pursuit of our legitimate interests, and (c) where we are under a legal obligation to do so.
Clients and third parties connected with clients have a right to request access to the personal information that we hold, to have any incorrect or incomplete personal information rectified, to request that we restrict the processing of personal information for specific purposes, and/or to request us to delete personal information that we hold.
Requests should be made in writing to the Applications Secretary as identified on the Trust website, emailing contact@novumtrust.org.uk or by writing to The Novum Trust, c/o Blair Cadell LLP, The Bond House, 5 Breadalbane Street, Edinburgh EH6 5J. Any requests received by us will be considered under applicable data protection legislation. If dissatisfied, individuals representing or identified by applicants have a right to raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
